Split front and back but binding still fairly strong. All pages intact. Conner, a Southern Baptist and professor at Southwestern Theological Seminary, presents a highly critical view for Christian Science. Hard to find. Conner claims his interpretation is in agreement with those of other evangelical theologians. He views Christian Science as being pantheistic and tending toward gnosticism. He also attacks the character of Mary Baker Eddy, e.g. "She saw to it she got the cold cash for the heavenly wisdom that she gave out." He also castigates her for refusing to give personal healing to the ill.
